Jus thought of sharing my experience as a software developer in Indian and MNC companies....
I am currently working for DELL , Banglore. Previously I worked in HCL , Chennai...
as a student of anna university chennai , we enjoyed our campus placement facilities a lot. I got placed in HCL in my third year ( August 2000 ) of my B.Tech course. we were a group of 12 students who got placed in HCL. Then we started dreaming of our corporate life for the next one year. lots of treats , college functions , farewells , etc... when the time came , we finished our graduation in April 2001 and was waiting for our joining date letter from HCL. one fine day we got the letter from HCL which was a big shock for us. they postponed our date of joining indefinitely. though it was a sad news we were happy compared to some of our fellow class mates whose jobs were cancelled by their respective companies... hope u guessed the reason... yes its because of the big economy slowdown in 2001... as a young graduate all these business reasons were big bouncers for us.....
